About The Position

· This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. · This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. · This position will require physical use of hands, arms, fingers, leg, and back muscles to continuously monitor and assist with training of team members on the line and require long periods of standing and walking to monitor equipment during production. · Team member in this position will assist with the set-up of the production line and the daily inspection of all operating equipment to ensure equipment is in a good working condition. · Team member will also ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout the production area, and that all the materials needed are on the production floor throughout the day. · This position will also assist with the tracking of daily attendance rosters and assist with and train new hires or any team members requiring re-training. This position will also assist with wash down to ensure all areas are being covered and sanitized accordingly. · Team Member in this position serve as the liaison between the Supervisor and Team Members, to ensure all directions given by the Supervisor are understood and carried out in a timely manner and will communicate all issues of quality to the Supervisor. · Responsible for all other duties assigned by the Supervisor, but not including disciplining employees. Therefore, strong verbal and written communication is required for this position. · Team member in this position will also perform any other duties as assigned or requested by Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6 months of continuous work history in the last 12 months.
  • Applications will be considered from the following Arkansas counties: Washington, Benton, and Madison.
  • Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.
  • Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than two times.
  • Failed Drug Screen - if you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
  • Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication is required for this position.
