About The Position

Our Yard Workers are one of the most important roles at WillScot. Without YOU, we cannot get our Storage and Office Units out on time and in proper shape. Our growing branch is looking for an individual to lead a small team of our Yard Workers. This is a working lead position where you will ensure the WillScot Storage Units and Offices are cleaned, repaired and in working condition so they can be rented out.

Requirements

• 1-2 Years experience with general labor and general repairs.
• High School Diploma.
• Welding experience preferred.
• 1+ Years of Lead experience preferred.
• 1+ Years of coaching and training experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills (e-mail, spreadsheets, word processing, database).

Responsibilities

• Supervise 3+ Yard Workers in the day-to-day completion of their jobs.
• Assign daily tasks.
• Monitor and sign off on work completed to ensure units meet quality standards.
• Complete and submit all work orders for the Yard.
• Conduct periodic safety checks (PPE and ensuring policies are being followed).
• Coach and train Yard Workers.
• Clean, repair and ensure all Storage Units and Offices are in working condition and ready to be rented.
• Document work completed and verify units either need further repairs (red tagged) or are ready to rent (green tagged).
• Ensure the supplies are replenished and the Yard is both organized and is free of debris and potential hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
