About The Position

The Multi-Modal Technologist reports to the designated leader(s) within the Radiology/Imaging Department. General Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring constant supervision. Will require independent judgment and initiative of a technical level. Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Diploma / Certification from certified school of Primary Imaging Modality required.
One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.
Six (6) months of experience required, acute care experience preferred.
Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license required.
Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
