Primary Duties The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Execute janitorial duties at HAFB to include, but not limited to, cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, vacuuming assigned areas, high and low dusting, and emptying trash. Assist in transporting crews to assigned work areas daily. Perform a specific designated task – i.e. train, floor scheduler, supervise swing or 4x10 shift. Perform other related duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities May perform supervisory duties in the absence of their supervisor. Conduct quality inspections on janitorial workers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) preferred.
  • Two years’ prior custodial experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel required. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Abilty to pass and maintain clearance for the HAFB background check.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and written in English.
  • Must be familiar with HAFB building locations.
  • Must be familiar with work assigned for shift to be completed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
