Lead Window Cleaning Technician
About The Position
A Lead Cleaner is responsible for routine cleaning and supervising all areas of routine cleaning jobs. The Lead Cleaner accepts increased responsibility and acts as the liaison or intermediary between Owner and the cleaning staff. This position is the primary contact at each job site for staff and customers. Additionally, this position supervises and instructs the cleaning personnel in the proper procedures and cleaning standards of the customer and company. A lead cleaner also assists with training as needed. We clean glass at commercial and residential locations; including retail locations, office buildings, and malls from 1 to 3 stories. Some ladder work, travel between jobs, and minimal paperwork are required. You need reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and a valid driver’s license to be considered for employment. Requirements
- Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Able to work with arms above head
- Able to work in temperatures ranging from 0 to 110 degree
- Able to assemble, lift and climb ladders up to 30 feet
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Completion of Window Cleaner Training Program
- Ability to lead cleaners on large jobs and projects
- Provide excellent customer service
- Write legibly and speak clearly
- Self-motivated and able to work alone
- Team Building Skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous management or sales experience preferred
- Experience up-selling and/or working with customers preferred
Responsibilities
- Professionally and proficiently clean windows
- Learn daily production duties: including scheduling and distribution of work orders and ensure all work orders are complete each week
- Inventory window cleaning equipment and ensure functionality of equipment
- Manage commercial and residential account work and coordinate with customer contacts
- Manage and delegate work with technicians on jobsites
- Training of new window technicians
- Conduct weekly safety training for window cleaners and document all safety incidents
- Meet cleaners in the mornings for check ins
- Responsible for interactions with customers on multi-cleaner jobs
- Handle call backs
