About The Position
We are seeking a Lead Water Treatment Maintenance Mechanic to support operations in The Villages, FL. This role is responsible for performing and leading preventative and corrective maintenance on wastewater and potable water treatment systems and equipment. Pay: $27.00- $29.00 per hour DOE
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in water/wastewater treatment maintenance
- Prior lead or supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, and treatment equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
- Inspect equipment and prevent recurring failures
- Install and set up new equipment
- Support maintenance of facilities, buildings, and grounds
- Lead and guide maintenance team on assigned shift
