About The Position

Leads the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of electric line materials, coordinating closely with construction, engineering, accounting, and the RESCO alliance to maintain optimal stock levels. Oversee receiving, shipping, stocking, and issuance of materials while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse operations. Partner with accounting to verify proper allocation of materials to accounts and ensure timely and accurate acknowledgment of materials received across functions. At MVEC we are a Team! Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in material shipping, receiving, inventory stocking and distribution
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (or required to obtain within 12 months of hire date)
  • Knowledge of OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations and compliance standards related to warehousing operations
  • Fork lift certified
  • Competent use of computers and office equipment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage correspondence effectively
  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail to maintain accuracy
  • Ability to use construction equipment and operate large vehicles
  • Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in the heat and cold while being exposed to a wide variety of work conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of REA Construction specification material units

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure proper procurement, distribution, and inventory management of electric line materials to support operational needs.
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to forecast demand and maintain adequate material levels for upcoming large-scale projects.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and warehouse areas to ensure compliance with company policy and safety regulations.
  • Lead inventory control processes, including cycle counts, and material charge outs for contractors.
