About The Position

Chick-fil-A Supply is a distribution service provider focused on serving the unique needs of Chick-fil-A® restaurants. This new subsidiary is in the early stages of development and operates in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. The Lead Warehouse Team Member will be responsible for critical tasks in daily warehouse operations, including managing workflows, planning labor, and training new and experienced team members. This role involves partnering with building leadership to meet operational goals and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of warehouse experience
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Exemplary performance and safety record
  • Certified on pallet rider, counterbalance, and hi-reach
  • Proven ability to work independently with little oversight
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization
  • Thorough understanding of inbound and outbound operational priorities
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs
  • Solutions-oriented problem solver

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in distribution
  • Experience leading training and managing operations

Responsibilities

  • Preparing staffing plans and executing adjustments to meet operational goals
  • Planning, allocating, and coordinating activities in the WMS
  • Managing movement of resources to optimize dock flow
  • Monitoring order changes and executing necessary adjustments in WMS/JDA system
  • Coordinating with Customer Service and Transportation teams for urgent requests
  • Aligning and executing the release of work to the picking queue
  • Assigning emergency replenishment tasks for priority orders
  • Printing transfer paperwork and coordinating trailer inspections
  • Identifying and resolving loading issues
  • Performing end-of-day reconciliation and validating order fulfillment
  • Tracking status of inbound purchase orders and scheduling deliveries
  • Gathering information for overages, shortages, or damaged items
  • Maintaining organized work area and ensuring document retrieval
  • Monitoring and managing receiving email communications
  • Contributing to inbound and outbound activities as needed
  • Developing and managing new hire training programs
  • Refining and managing PIT training and recertification
  • Maintaining Warehouse Skills Matrix for operational planning
  • Identifying best practices to enhance training effectiveness
  • Partnering with Supervisors to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Recertifying experienced team members on systems and safety procedures
  • Participating in the development of SOPs and safety programs
  • Contributing to outbound activities including picking and loading
