Hypertherm is seeking to add a Lead Order Fulfillment/Receiving Specialist to their 2nd shift shift Distribution team! Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ERP experience (Oracle preferred)
  • Clear orbit or WMS experience
  • Basic computer skills (proficient with MS Office)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years leadership experience
  • 3+ experience working in distribution/logistics work environment
  • Green belt certification
  • Intermediate presentation skills
  • Advanced WMS/ERP experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the team including associate selection, training, coaching, development, conflict resolution, earned time off management, performance management and recognition
  • Fosters a positive climate and safe working environment that promotes associate well-being and team effectiveness across the organization for improved business results
  • Applies Lean principles (e.g. kaizen, flow, standard work, 5S, etc) to assess and manage picking, packaging, shipping and receiving processes to ensure associate safety and optimize processes to meet customer expectations
  • Conducts or contributes to the communication activities (meetings, reports, emails, one on ones, Gemba walk, metric boards) surrounding Order Fulfillment/Receiving to ensure that key stake holders (e.g. support staff, peers, customer service, traffic, leadership) are informed of day-to-day operations, delivery metrics, customer demands or obstacles and challenges that the team are faced with
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to processes and associate performance to ensure that processes are picking, packaging, shipping/receiving runs effectively and efficiently
  • Participates or leads other projects or assignments as needed
