About The Position

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You will be a "go-to" person that oversees the warehouse operations and supports the location manager as needed. You’ll lead warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. You’ll operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed. This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business who serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. We innovate the nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 5+ years of warehousing work experience, which at least 2 years was in a lead position
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
  • Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ year of warehousing work experience, which at least 3-5 years was in a lead position
  • Forklift experience

Responsibilities

  • Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
  • Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
  • Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery
  • Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Successful forklift certification required
