About The Position

The Warehouse Operations position at Cardinal Health is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The role ensures the efficient flow of products from the point of receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to various internal and external customers. The work schedule is from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with flexibility required for overtime as necessary due to customer needs.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills
• 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Excel knowledge preferred
• Great communication skills (bi-lingual is a plus!)
• Prior knowledge working with a WMS system
• Previous experience leading a team and sharing feedback with employees
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (PIT preferred)
• Flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Training new employees on company and departmental procedures as appropriate
• Measuring safety, productivity, and quality standards and ensuring they are met
• Coordinating housekeeping, inventory control, and complying with all QRA and safety requirements
• Supporting employees in the distribution center in all functions, including unloading trucks, accurately breaking down and stocking freight, and order processing
• Leading team meetings
• Solving minor issues
• Working in production as needed
