Lead Warehouse Associate
About The Position
Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Lead W Warehouse Associate at our Deforest, WI facility. We are a family-owned business with over 130 years of history, committed to inspiring healthier lifestyles and providing exceptional fresh food solutions. Previous warehouse experience is required as this is not an entry level position. In this role, you will assist a team of warehouse associates, receive in bound freight, and pick/pull orders for delivery. This position is also responsible for assisting in the filing of paperwork and other office duties. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse and pallet jack experience, previous reach truck experience is desired. Pay: Depends on Experience – starting range $25 - $27
Requirements
- SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
- 1-2 years of previous supervisory/lead experience
- Previous pallet jack and forklift experience a must
- Previous experience working with a WMS system
Nice To Haves
- previous reach truck experience is desired
Responsibilities
- Assist in leading a team of warehouse associates
- Use stand up pallet jack to build loads as well as forklifts
- Pick and pull orders to be delivered to customer
- Receive inbound freight and assign team members to receive and put away product
- Assist in handling of paperwork and office duties
- Clean as you go, keeping the work area clean and safe from debris
- All other assigned duties
