About The Position

We are currently seeking a Lead/ Supervisor Veterinary Technician to lead, support, and partner closely with our Practice Manager to ensure exceptional medical care and hospital operations. Requirements

  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a veterinary hospital setting
  • Strong clinical skills, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, venipuncture, and patient care
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with team members and clients
  • A passion for animal welfare, mentorship, and building a positive team culture

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support the veterinary technician team in partnership with the Practice Manager
  • Assist veterinarians in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of animal patients
  • Perform and oversee medical procedures, laboratory testing, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Monitor patient conditions and ensure accurate administration of medications
  • Educate pet owners on post-treatment care and preventive health measures
  • Support scheduling, workflow efficiency, and daily hospital operations
  • Promote compliance with hospital protocols and medical standards
  • Foster a compassionate, positive experience for both pets and their families
