We’re looking for an experienced Lead Veterinarian with strong surgical skills to guide our team, deliver exceptional client service, and ensure the highest standards of patient care. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and leadership development as you help shape our practice’s future. About CityVet: With 60+ locations across 7 states and 25+ years of experience, CityVet blends the freedom of private practice with the support of a larger organization. Glassdoor ranked us #11 in their Top 50 Best Places to Work in 2025—let’s talk about what makes CityVet such a great place to grow! Why work at CityVet? There are three reasons that make ownership with CityVet a unique experience: Autonomy - Founded by Dr. Chip Cannon, DVM, CityVet was built on the belief that vets thrive when they practice their way—without quotas or restrictions. Our supportive culture and strong mentorship ensure professional growth and exceptional patient care. Support – CityVet is DVM-led and owned, meaning we understand what veterinarians need—real support. We handle the business side, including HR, finance, IT, marketing, and logistics, so you can focus on practicing medicine. With leadership development, mentorship, top-tier benefits, paid parental leave, generous PTO, and CE support, we invest in your growth. Our vets rated us 9.3/10 in satisfaction, and our Local Partners are always ready to share expertise. Kindness - We’ve built a culture where everyone works together to make pets healthier and pet parents happier. Our ego-free leadership team is dedicated to your success, allowing you to focus on patient care while we handle the business side. With a highly responsive and supportive home office, you’ll have everything you need to thrive. Get to know Dr. Erin Tate!
