About The Position

Kforce has a client in need of a Lead Vault Engineer in Coppell, TX.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud engineering with a focus on managing platform
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and automation framework
• Hands-on experience managing Vault or similar platforms in on-prem and cloud environments
• Proficiency in AWS or other major cloud providers
• Programming experience in Python, Groovy, or Java
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements in regulated industries (finance preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Vault infrastructure on both on-premises and cloud platforms (ANS or equivalent)
• Implement and manage secret management solutions ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
• Integrate Vault with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform and automate workflows for secret rotation and access control
• Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to enforce best practices for identity and access management
• Monitor and optimize Vault performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (finance or similar industries)
• Develop scripts and tools using Python, Groovy, Java for automation and integration
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Vault and associated infrastructure
