Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, or fabricators. Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers. Making Decisions and Solving Problems Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings Guiding, Directing, and Motivating Subordinates Coaching and Developing Others Advise others on ways to improve processes or products. Confer with others to resolve production problems or equipment malfunctions. Enforce rules or regulations. Inspect production equipment.

Requirements

  • 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Active listening skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods throughout your shift.
  • Ability and willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) specific to each work area.
  • Capacity to work in a manufacturing environment that may include: Extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), Tight Spaces Loud noise levels, Dust and chemical fumes, Sharp metal objects, and Heavy forklift traffic
