Assists Department Manager by assuming accountability for the following within assigned clinical areas: Maintains existing business and develops new business opportunities. Collaborates with Department Manager on continuous improvement of medical imaging processes to increase efficiency, eliminate waste, improve productivity, and reduce costs. Purchases authorized equipment and supplies and maintains inventory and controls. Supports Customer Service initiatives and supports peers. Collaborates closely with the Department Manager to align messaging and priorities. Effectively orient and train staff. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients. Coordinate ultrasound schedule for patients. Mains confidentiality of all patients and financial information.

Requirements

  • Completion of AMA approved School of Ultrasound Technology or certificate from ARDMS.
  • Two years’ applicable experience in medical imaging and systems environment.
  • ARRT/ARDMS registered/eligible.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
