About The Position

The Goddard School in Chicago (South Loop), IL, is looking for a motivated self-starter for Lead Two's Toddler Daycare Teacher positions. In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a safe and engaging environment, and support the developmental needs of Two's and/or Toddlers. Requirements

Prior experience working with Two's and Toddlers in daycare or preschool settings.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively.
Experience with caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and nurturing young children.
Familiarity with early childhood education curricula and activities designed for preschool-aged children.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and team members effectively.

Review and Lead lesson planning, accountable for timely implementation and communication to families
Ability to work on achieving accreditations
Ability to understand special needs requirements
Timely Reporting, Documentation and Follow up of child observations and incidents
Contributing to peer Professional Development
