About The Position
The Attleboro Norton YMCA is launching the Finberg Learning Lab, a new summer academic support program offering on-site tutoring for campers. We are seeking an organized and proactive individual to lead and coordinate this program.
Requirements
- Massachusetts Elementary Education Certification required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage schedules and multiple moving parts
- Self-directed and solution-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Experience in education, youth programs, or program coordination preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Learning Lab (7:00–8:30 AM, Monday–Friday)
- Manage tutor and camper schedules
- Maintain daily roster and ensure attendance is tracked by tutors
- Coordinate camper transitions to and from tutoring sessions
- Serve as primary point of contact for tutors, families, and camp staff
- Ensure tutoring spaces (tents near Roddy Pavilion) are set up and organized
- Communicate schedule updates, including tutor cancellations and rescheduling
- Support program launch, growth, and adjustments during pilot phase
