Single panel and Peel-ID™ safe storage labels can be conveniently reviewed and approved online via our Fusion portal before being printed and inspected at our facilities. Catalent Pharma Solutions in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Lead Trainer. The Lead Trainer is responsible for assessing capability gaps through analysis of business performance data, designing training programs, delivering efficient and effective training, and coaching sessions and evaluating training effectiveness. They are responsible for developing and implementing capability building for business-critical processes. They work collaboratively between the business and the trainers and function as coach and mentor to the trainers. The Lead Trainer is responsible for ensuring curriculum design meets the needs of the functional departments and translates into business performance and training effectiveness.

  • Ensures class and coaching session readiness through scheduling, preparing room and materials
  • Designs comprehensive and complex training programs and curricula that align with learning objectives and incorporate various instructional methods, such as lectures, workshops, simulations, e-learning modules, or on-the-job training
  • Leads and coaches other trainers to deliver high quality and impactful learning content that supports our changing and growing organization, both in on-boarding and continuous learning, either in-person (classroom style) or through virtual platforms to groups or on a 1:1 basis
  • Monitors and analyzes training effectiveness data and business performance data to determine training program / curriculum improvement
  • Fosters a culture of learning by guiding and supporting other trainers, sharing expertise, and helping them polish their skills and broaden their knowledge base
  • Stays up to date on best practices in instructional design, adult learning theory, and technical training methodologies
  • Adapts training and delivery style in accordance with any known learner requirement and ensures training is accessible and coaches other trainers in this technique
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years relevant experience building and delivering training programs, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, at least ten years of relevant experience building and delivering training programs, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting is required
  • Highly experienced in developing instructor guides, student manuals, workbooks, job aids, and related materials
  • Highly experienced in developing e-learning (e.g. computer-based, web-based training, online learning) that is delivered through digital media including Learning Management Systems (LMS), web, video, or mobile devices
  • Experience in Pharma/Biotech or another cGMP environment preferred
  • Highly experienced in adult learning principles, learning development life cycle, evaluation of learning programs
  • Strong facilitation skills and demonstrated experience training professionals up to senior management level in both live-in-person and live-virtual environments
  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
