About The Position
Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI), your local Thermo King dealer, is looking for an experienced Lead Trailer Technician to join our team in De Pere, WI! Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Obtain a toolbox and the required tools
- Proven experience in trailer repair and shop supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather condidtions
- Strong welding and fabrication skills (steel and aluminum)
- Familiarity with ABS, electrical systems, and DOT/FHWA inspections
- Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Perform trailer inspections, maintenance, and repairs (brakes, tires, electrical, ABS, welding, etc.)
- Supervise and assign work to trailer technicians
- Ensure high quality standards and efficiency are met in shop operations
- Provide training and mentorship to new and current technicians
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard
- Communicate effectively with team members across shifts
- Complete repair orders and verify technician time and parts
- Perform road service and occasional vehicle repairs
- Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed
- Additional duties as assigned
