About The Position

Sunshine Academy, is looking for a Lead Toddler Teacher who is passionate about nurturing young children and making a lasting impact during their earliest years of learning.
Job Summary
As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of young children. You'll build strong relationships with families while guiding toddlers through daily routines, play, and early learning experiences.

Requirements

• Must Pass Level II Background Screening
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education
• Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents
• Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• High school diploma
• Eagerness to Learn
• Reliable and Ready to Make a Difference
• Provide a 45 hour DCF Transcript with CDA or Formal Education

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• Document children's learning through displays and classroom materials
• Maintain positive daily communication with families
• Provide nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for toddlers
• Follow and support childcare licensing and accreditation standards
• Work collaboratively as part of dedicated teaching team
