About The Position

Our PlayHouse Preschool, part of the Cadence Education family, is hiring a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 or older
• Meet state requirements for lead preschool teachers
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• Prior experience as a preschool lead teacher
• Strong classroom management skills (preferred)
• Flexibility to work within business hours

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum with your teaching team
• Observe and support children's interests and developmental milestones
• Communicate effectively with families about their child's progress
• Promote positive social behaviors and model respectful interactions
• Plan a balanced daily schedule with a mix of indoor/outdoor and active/quiet activities
