About The Position

The Threat Intelligence Analyst role will be a direct report to the Global Security Operations and Intelligence Center Manager as part of Lowe's Global Security Team. The Intelligence Analyst will gather information, apply analysis, and produce various intelligence products that directly impact important business and travel decisions made throughout the enterprise. Through open-source monitoring (OSINT), the candidate will apply operational and strategic threat analysis of global influences (political, climate, crime, disasters, terrorism, etc.) in support of Lowe's corporate brand and operational integrity. This role plays a critical part of the overarching security mission to protect personnel, facilities, assets, and reputation by supporting organizational awareness and readiness for adverse events and scenarios. The candidate will have a keen interest in domestic and international events, global supply chains, protective intelligence, and threat convergence. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be teachable, have the highest degree of integrity, and follow guidance to ensure our customers have situational awareness and are satisfied with our products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience
  • 3-5 Years Intelligence analytics experience or academic background in intelligence studies

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 Years Corporate security, law enforcement, or military experience
  • 1-2 Years Operations center experience
  • 1-2 Years Experience leveraging diverse data systems
  • 1-2 Years IALEIA/CICA, DoD/ASA, LEIU, IACA

Responsibilities

  • Research open-source intelligence, social media platforms and various other sources for known and potential threats capable of impacting the safety and operations.
  • Prioritize, validate, analyze, and correlate information to identify existing and emerging threats to Lowe’s associates, assets, and brand.
  • Support the development and delivery of Lowe’s Global Security and Intelligence Operations Center initiatives.
  • Monitor, identify, and analyze global political and security trends to determine relevance and impact to Lowe’s.
  • Monitor emerging enterprise threats and deliver convergence analysis and intelligence through products designed to meet the leadership and stakeholders needs.
  • Participate in, or lead, intelligence/analysis related projects that are highly visible and impact many stakeholders.
  • Support crisis management information reporting and other related functions during incidents and when designated on-call analyst.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of intelligence databases.
  • Build relationships with internal/external counterparts and industry subject matter experts (SMEs) in threat intelligence analysis to share methodologies and best practices.
  • Quantify and qualify data.
  • Serve in a rotating ‘on-call’ or proxy capacity to support security or crisis events.
