Lead Therapist Overview The lead therapist is expected to demonstrate expertise in: the ability to conduct group therapy, individual therapy, complete assessments, treatment planning and the utilization of SMART goals, and be able to manage a team of staff and group therapists. The lead therapist needs to be proficient in completing clinical documentation within a timely manner, supervising a team of therapists, and collaborating with the medical and administrative departments to provide best patient care. The focus of this position requires extensive knowledge in psychoeducation, crisis intervention, case management, substance abuse knowledge, appropriate referral sources, assessment completion, and treatment/discharge planning. This position will also perform other tasks related to the therapy needs of the office and the treatment needs of the patients. This position requires an extensive knowledge of: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, zoom and an EMR system.
