About The Position

The Lead Therapist is responsible for the administrative oversight and quality management of assigned clinical and case management services. This position is responsible for the assessment, coordination and documentation of all treatment services for assigned clients. Evenings and some weekends are required to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this position. Here’s what the job involves: Provide day-to-day leadership for assigned clinical and case management services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards. Supervise and support Case Managers through monthly documented supervision, case consultation, coaching, and modeling of best practices. Promote a consistent therapeutic environment, shared treatment orientation, and behavior management framework across residential programs. Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, retention, and termination processes for assigned programs. Complete 90-day and annual performance evaluations, establish goals for direct reports, and implement corrective action plans when needed. Conduct routine chart reviews and collaborate with the Clinical Director and interdisciplinary team to ensure documentation, treatment plans, and billing requirements are met. Oversee group therapy programming by developing/approving curricula, monitoring outcomes, and ensuring group documentation supports treatment goals. Support program operations by ensuring coverage during staff absences, participating in on-call rotation, and attending required clinical, multidisciplinary, and court-related meetings.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social services or mental health required.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in child welfare system.
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience in a residential setting.
  • Clinical Licensure required
  • National Provider Identification Number (NPI) required. If not, must obtain upon hire.
  • State of Florida Medicaid Provider Number required. If not, must obtain upon hire.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record required
