Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems’ C4ISR team is looking for a proven and experienced lead test engineer to support the Peace Krypton (PK) program. As the Lead Test Engineer in this position, you will: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, including test strategy, test design, and test scripts Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, software engineering, and hardware engineering, to ensure that systems and products meet customer requirements and industry standards Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and test reports Lead a team of test engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure that test activities are completed on time and to a high standard Develop and maintain test environments, including test beds, test fixtures, and test tools Be available and willing to travel internationally to support test events Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand test requirements and ensure that test activities meet their needs Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues Develop and implement process improvements to increase test efficiency and effectiveness Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior test engineers, including training and mentoring Participate in test process improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes Do you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? On this team, you will collaborate with a diverse, geographically separated team of technical professionals including software developers, system engineers, and aircraft and hardware engineers. You will work with cross-functional team in a highly dynamic mission-focused environment. An experienced Senior Test Engineer-Lead responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of the PK Ground and Air systems and products. A candidate with a strong background in system test engineering (Software and Hardware), with expertise in test planning, test design, and test execution. You will be responsible for leading a team of test engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that systems and products meet customer requirements and industry standards. Available and willing to travel internationally to support test events and work closely with global customers and partners. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another STEM related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in system engineering, with a focus on complex system design, development, and integration
Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
Strong technical expertise in system test engineering (Hardware and Software), including test planning, test design, and test execution
Experience with multiple test disciplines, including functional testing, performance testing, and security testing
Familiarity with test tools and technologies, including test automation frameworks and test management tools
Experience with test data management and test environment management
Available for international travel to support test events multiple times per year

Nice To Haves

Current CompTIA Security+ certification
Strong programming and scripting skills, including languages such as C# and PowerShell
Knowledge of DO-178C - Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification
Proven experience in leading and managing test teams, including setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources
Experience with test process improvement, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
Ability to develop and manage test budgets, including estimating costs and managing expenses
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001, IEEE 1012, and AS9100
Experience with virtual/converged systems and technologies
