About The Position

The Lead Technologist II, Enterprise Data Management at Neuberger Berman will spearhead the development of the data platform and drive the company's data vision. This role involves establishing strategic priorities, designing operational processes, and leading the data and analytics roadmap to enhance decision-making and innovation across the firm.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience in data management and technology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Proven expertise in building large-scale systems with technologies such as Java, Kafka, and Spark.
• Mastery of Big Data Ecosystem technologies with hands-on experience in data ingestion, storage, processing, and publication solutions.
• Experience with public and private cloud capabilities, including Snowflake and Data Bricks.
• Strong foundation in data analytics, data engineering, and modern data technologies.
• Proven leadership experience in enterprise data governance, data security, and data warehousing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data virtualization and open-source technologies.
• Familiarity with external cloud deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and compute capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Data function's overall technology architecture and strategy.
• Own Neuberger Berman's data management roadmap.
• Expand the strategic use of Snowflake to add value to technology teams and business.
• Drive the firm's migration to the cloud and enable scalable AI solutions.
• Develop and implement new data tools and analytics solutions.
