About The Position

Security 101 – Phoenix is now recruiting for a Lead Commercial Security Technician that has experience installing programming and servicing commercial electronic security devices primarily CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems and overall security systems. Salary: Hourly wage varies from $35.00 to $45.00, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience. Skills/Abilities: Lead technicians must have between 3- and 5-years’ experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems. The candidates for lead technician must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a project lead responsible for complete project supervision. Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential. Lead technicians must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction. Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR. Current programming certification or proficiency in one of the following is a must: Access Control: Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, OpenPath Video: Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Genetec, Victor, Avigilon, Hanwha. Locking hardware, ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin, Adams Rite. Intrusion: DMP, DSC Responsibilities: Installing, terminating, configuring, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems, and visitor management, preferred. Leading a team on project installations. Managing quality control and providing fanatical customer service Taking responsibility for and tracking project progress. Security 101 will invest in training for the right candidate. Education: High School (or GED) minimum requirement Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred) Security 101 is a DFWP and EOE organization with a team-oriented work environment. Must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation and a drug-test screening. Must also be able to work in both office and outside environments, climb a ladder, use a forklift, and carry boxes weighing 50lbs.
