About The Position
The Lead Technician at AdvantaClean of West Hartford plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing a crew while ensuring the successful execution of various services related to mold remediation, water damage cleanup, and HVAC maintenance. This position requires a blend of leadership and hands-on technical skills, as the Lead Technician is not only responsible for managing job costs, production times, and quality assurance but also acts as the primary point of contact for customers. The Lead Technician will be expected to maintain a company vehicle and manage all equipment used in both commercial and residential divisions. In addition to managerial duties, the Lead Technician will regularly engage in fieldwork, which includes performing mold remediation, installing preventative moisture control solutions, and conducting air duct and dryer vent cleaning. The role also encompasses HVAC coil cleaning and providing 24/7 water damage recovery services to clients as needed. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to respond to emergency recovery situations promptly, ensuring that all safety measures are enforced on job sites. The Lead Technician must maintain thorough documentation on projects, including photos and contracts, to ensure transparency and accountability. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork, safety, and effective communication, making this role vital for the successful delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
