This temporary Test Technician will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and best practices on inverter testing, repair and troubleshooting, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The successful candidate will work closely with technicians, providing troubleshooting expertise to resolve issues, and incorporating efficiencies to reduce costs, increase throughput, and decrease turnaround time. The role also involves documenting test procedures and maintaining test equipment. Key responsibilities include evaluating current processes and repair/troubleshooting techniques of EMA’s and test technicians, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements to cost, throughput, and turnaround time. All recommendations, test procedures, and results must be documented and filed. The technician will ensure a consistent model is developed to meet cost, schedule, and on-time customer accomplishments, conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems, troubleshoot and resolve test failures, collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
