Lead Technician - Facilities - Night Shift

About The Position

Performs daily plant maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and all other related functions on various industrial equipment. Set-up and adjust machines to ensure proper operation. Oversee all workorders and assignments for night shift technicians. Cross train technicians on new equipment and procedures. Communicate daily pass down from day shift to night shift. Support all departments as needed.

Requirements

Boiler, Ammonia, HVAC, and Compressor experience required
Must have a broad understanding of industrial electrical, 24V – 480V, 3 phase, mechanical, and building systems
Advanced machine experience, skills, and knowledge required. Ability to identify, assess, and troubleshoot issues that arise with machinery and related systems.
Ability to use standard and specialized hand and power tools and measuring equipment i.e., ultra-sonic, predictive maintenance tools
Ability to perform preventative and routine maintenance, changeovers, and installation of motors, belts, drives, and other mechanical systems
Good understanding of computer program functionality
Strong knowledge of food safety and good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
Ability to read and understand process flow and piping diagrams. PNID
Must be comfortable accessing the facility roof, using extension ladders, man lifts, and scissor lifts
Multi weather exposure required
Successfully passing a respirator fit test required
Minimum of 5 years working in an industrial environment in related capacity
Must have a record of proven leadership ability.
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Technical college degree or vocational training in PLC/Electrical technology preferred
