The Business Operations team helps guide and articulate technology strategy and research, and is responsible for driving the day-to-day operation of the Product & Technology organization, including: project and portfolio management and tracking; organization-level capital, space, and resource management and allocation; process management; technical incident management; and our administrative and workplace experience support team. This is a Lead Technical Program Manager (TPM) position within the Product & Technology (P&T) Technology Enablement Alliance (TEA). The Lead TPM will play a leadership role in the delivery and enhancements of services and tools within the Cost Management engineering teams. These are a central group responsible for driving savings and efficiencies through the monitoring and investigation of cost trends, as well as the development of supportive tooling. Separately this role may support the analysis and migration of organizational chatops integrations. Our ideal candidate is intuitive, autonomous, has a high degree of technical literacy and a desire to know more. They are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable quickly switching roles from detective to executive communicator to engineering advocate.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of drive and delivery of high profile, cross org impacting efforts for multiple engineering teams
  • Detail oriented and excellent communication skills; ability to follow technical discussions and absorb technical documentation; ability to develop fundamental technical understanding of the project deliverables
  • Demonstrated tenacity and comfortable with ambiguity; able to drive consensus between cross-functional stakeholder groups
  • Experience playing a leadership role in highly integrated COTS implementation experience
  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships and effectively and efficiently communicating program vision and status in monthly business reviews
  • Experience working with distributed teams and/or distributed organizations
  • Deep understanding of SDLC; working understanding of cloud based development and a desire to know more
  • Develop fundamental technical understanding of the tools and services vended by your teams
  • Tools expertise including AirTable, Atlassian Suite, Google Suite, and Slack or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in STEM and / or experience as a software engineer
  • Exposure to modern DevOps and SRE practices around CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Availability, etc
  • Experience as a software engineer, including exposure to Java or Scala
