About The Position

As a Lead Technical Consultant at EasyPost, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with business analysts and consultants to thoroughly understand and document business requirements, business processes, and the current and future state of these processes as they relate to system capabilities. You will work closely with technical development and delivery teams to propose innovative solutions that leverage the full functionality of our systems. Your ability to translate approved solutions into actionable deliverables will be crucial in ensuring high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, you will manage the configuration and design of the platform for both client and internal/partner instances. You will be tasked with solving complex business problems by configuring and maintaining custom objects, queues, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, custom workflows, approval processes, installed packages, and related setups within the platform. As a solution expert and advocate for the platform, you will drive adoption among users, consistently recommend best practices, and stay informed about upcoming changes to ensure that these changes are effectively leveraged within products built by Summit and for client instances. Additionally, you will support and facilitate client go-lives, which includes providing training and onboarding activities related to the platform. Your role will also involve supporting internal upskilling and cross-skilling initiatives within Summit to enhance the overall consultant skill base. You will be responsible for maintaining user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, and other relevant configurations for clients and internal/partner instances. Furthermore, you will recommend, build, and configure reporting and data analytics within the platform as needed. Managing partner activities, including certifications, portal access, knowledge base setups, user setups, and acting as a key contact point for new releases, will also be part of your responsibilities. This position offers a remote/telecommuting option, providing flexibility in your work environment.
