Lead Technical Analyst Job Overview Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, the Lead Technical Analyst provides technical leadership for the College’s administrative and enterprise systems, overseeing the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of application solutions that support core institutional operations. This position is full-time and pays $80,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience. Duties and Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain data management and reporting systems auxiliary to the College's central administrative database, including providing user support to ensure effective operation. Collaborate with data owners and AIT members to understand business processes and ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data across central administrative and auxiliary systems. Support reliable, consistent, and effective operation of administrative computing systems, including the student information system (SIS), and related auxiliary platforms. Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, leveraging scripting, APIs, scheduling tools, and integration platforms to streamline data movement and system operations. Participate in efforts related to business continuation and disaster recovery planning to ensuring appropriate levels of information security. Maintain current knowledge and skills related to database systems, networking, programming, and related technologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering), or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides comparable skills and knowledge. 5 years experience managing/configuring/supporting enterprise systems such as student information systems (SIS), customer relationship management systems (CRM), and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; Ellucian Banner preferred. Work experience in Higher Education strongly preferred. Experience developing reports and dashboards using enterprise reporting tools such as Power BI or Cognos Analytics. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Competency with database tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, PL/SQL, SQLPlus, and MySQL. Fluency in enterprise system design, implementation and documentation. Programming experience in languages such as Python, SQL, Bash, Java, etc. Familiarity with Unix and Windows operating systems. Competency in database architecture, design and administration. Strong understanding of networking and information security fundamentals.
