About The Position

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing inspection, repair, and maintenance of company-owned aircraft in accordance with the aircraft manufacturer's recommendations, FAA regulations, and departmental policies. The ideal candidate will work closely with other team members to ensure the safety and airworthiness of the aircraft, while maintaining accurate maintenance records. This position will be on a schedule rotating between first and second shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an aviation maintenance program preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mandatory.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, repairs, and maintenance on airframes, engines, and auxiliary power units (APUs).
• Perform troubleshooting of aircraft systems to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date aircraft maintenance records, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
• Ensure that all maintenance actions are properly documented and compliant with departmental policies.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities.
• Participate in safety briefings and training sessions to enhance aviation maintenance knowledge and skills.
