We are looking for a Lead Technical Designer who shares that mindset—someone who is passionate about product, obsessed with fit, and excited to help build the next generation of performance apparel for women. This role is ideal for a senior technical designer from a leading performance or lifestyle brand who wants the opportunity to shape product at a brand that is scaling quickly and redefining a category. The Role As Lead Technical Designer, you will lead the technical development of Fore All apparel from concept through production. You will operate at the center of product creation—partnering directly with design and working closely with manufacturing partners to translate creative ideas into technically sound, high-performing garments. This role requires someone who thrives in both craft and innovation: a technical expert who understands performance apparel, advanced fit development, sourcing, and modern digital product workflows. You will play a key role in ensuring Fore All garments deliver exceptional fit, performance, and consistency, while helping the brand evolve toward more advanced 3D and digital product development processes.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in technical design, preferably within performance apparel or premium activewear brands.
  • Deep expertise in garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit development.
  • Proven experience leading fit sessions and driving fit corrections through development and production.
  • Strong background working with performance fabrics and activewear construction.
  • Experience sourcing and collaborating directly with manufacturers, factories, and material vendors.
  • Advanced ability to build and manage detailed tech packs and garment specifications.
  • 3D apparel design experience using tools such as CLO, Browzwear, or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and apparel development tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple development timelines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience at leading performance or lifestyle brands such as Nike, Lululemon, Vuori, Alo, Athleta, or similar.
  • Background in performance sportswear or golf apparel.
  • Experience integrating 3D design into product development pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Development Own the technical development of Fore All apparel from concept through production. Translate design vision into precise technical specifications, garment construction, and measurement standards. Create and maintain comprehensive tech packs, garment specifications, and grading.
  • Fit Innovation & Garment Excellence Lead fit sessions and provide expert feedback to refine fit, construction, and performance. Develop and maintain fit standards, block libraries, and grading consistency across categories. Partner with design to refine silhouettes, seam placement, and garment engineering for performance and comfort.
  • 3D Product Development Utilize 3D design tools (CLO, Browzwear, or similar) to support product development, digital prototyping, and fit evaluation. Help integrate 3D workflows into the product creation process to improve speed, accuracy, and reduce sampling cycles. Contribute to building Fore All’s digital product development capabilities as the brand scales.
  • Sourcing & Manufacturing Partnership Help identify and source manufacturing partners, materials, and trims that align with Fore All’s product vision and quality standards. Build strong relationships with global factories and vendors. Communicate technical direction clearly with manufacturing partners throughout development and production. Review patterns, grading, and construction to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and quality.
  • Sample & Product Development Manage the sample development process including proto, fit, and production samples. Document and communicate detailed fit notes and corrections to manufacturing partners. Track revisions and approvals across development milestones to ensure product integrity.
  • Product Quality & Performance Ensure garments meet Fore All standards for fit, durability, mobility, and performance. Evaluate fabrics, trims, and construction techniques to improve product performance and longevity.
  • Process Development Help build scalable systems for fit standards, technical documentation, and product development workflows. Improve processes across product creation as Fore All continues to grow.
