Responsibilities

  • Lead classrooms and guide young learners while prioritizing their safety and well-being.
  • Plan engaging activities that promote growth across various areas of development.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with parents through open communication.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old and hold a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Experience in a licensed childcare center.
  • Possess one of the following: a NC Early Childhood Credential, a post-secondary degree in Early Childhood or equivalent, completion of a two-year high school ECE program, or 20 hours of training in child development.
  • Genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
