Requirements

• At least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Fulfill one of the following: 6 months of childcare experience, 12 credit hours from an accredited college with 6 credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development (CD), possess a degree in ECE or CD, or hold a NAC, CDA, or CCP certification.
• Genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead classrooms and guide young learners while prioritizing their safety and well-being.
• Plan engaging activities that promote growth across various areas of development.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with parents through open communication.
