About The Position

As a Lead Teacher at Busy Bees, a proud member of BrightPath Kids and Busy Bees global childcare community, you will work alongside teachers and families to provide a nurturing home-away-from-home environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. This role adheres to Early Learning Leaders NAC guidelines and involves creating developmentally appropriate curriculum based on NAC standards and AZ Early Learning Standards. You will curate programs and activities tailored to children’s interests and learning styles, maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment for growth and exploration, and partner with families to ensure the best care and education. Effective communication with parents/guardians about their child's progress is also a key aspect of this position. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years of age.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards & the AZ Early Learning Standards.
• Curating programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
