Requirements

Minimum age of 18.
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Some experience with children.
Pass KBI background check.
JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.

Nice To Haves

One year experience working with children 5-12 years of age in a licensed childcare setting.

Responsibilities

Ensures the safety of the children in the program at all times.
Responsible for direct interaction with the children in games, activities, and free play.
Ensures that both JCPRD and KDHE guidelines are followed.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized program.
Effectively communicate with parents, children, supervisors, and co-workers.
Must Exhibit Initiative by demonstrating leadership without being prompted.
Display professionalism always.
Provide excellent customer service.
Attend all required in-service trainings and meetings.
Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director
