About The Position

Hours: 40 Shift: 1st Status: Full Time Job Summary: Lead the children through all activities of the day, assuring they have an enjoyable, well-rounded, positive, educational, emotional and social experience using the Creative Curriculum.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• CDA Certification within 2 years OR must obtain an Associate's Degree if not obtained in 2 years
• Some previous Childcare experience required
• This position may require you to have First Aide or CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Turn in Monthly Lesson Plans.
• Comply with State, Local and Federal regulations.
• Complete State required 15 ECE training hours.
• Exhibit good customer relations.
• Comply with BHL and CDC Standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a professional and positive relationship with parents and co-workers.
• Respectful and courteous to all parents, children, and co-workers.
• Ensure the safety of all children in the classroom and never leave children unattended.
• Provide developmentally appropriate daily activities.
• Maintain a neat and organized classroom.
• Maintain and respect confidentially of children and families in our program.
• 13Record attendance, medicine administration, and accident/incident reports as needed.
