About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and loving Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn. The Lead Teacher will plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, guide assistant teachers, and ensure high-quality care that meets our program's standards and philosophy.

Requirements

• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or higher in Early Childhood Education required.
• Minimum 2 years of classroom experience in an early childhood or preschool setting.
• Strong understanding of child development, developmentally appropriate practices, and positive guidance techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to build nurturing relationships with children and families.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and passionate about early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early learning standards and the individual needs of each child
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers built on trust, respect, and open communication
• Observe and document children's development and use this information to guide curriculum and family communication
• Model appropriate guidance and behavior management techniques that support emotional and social growth
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers to ensure consistent quality and teamwork in the classroom
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and family engagement events.
