About The Position

One (1) Lead Teacher for the EHS 9th grade Algebra Afterschool Program from 3:30PM-5:45PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (in person program only) from March 2026-May 2026 Qualifications: Must be currently employed by Paterson Public Schools. Must be able to work all scheduled days of the program. New Jersey Principal or Supervisor certificate. Must coordinate the program and activities as per requested. Review the School’s Emergency Procedure. Review each student’s registration form with emergency numbers. Ensure teachers and students keep to the program schedule. Knowledgeable with the Kronos system. Prepare compensation forms and match to Kronos. Track and monitor student attendance on a Google sheet. Call student families to ensure student participation. Monitor and track the pre and post assessment and provide an analytical statement at the end of the program. Reconcile timesheets against attendance tracking system. Must be well organized, detail oriented, computer literate, and analytical. Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character. Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respectful of others. Must complete all tasks assigned to run a successful program. Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community.
