About The Position

The Lead Head Start Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum while ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and relevant regulations. This role emphasizes collaboration with parents and inclusion of children with diverse developmental needs, aiming to create an exemplary educational environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education with one year of teaching experience (preferably in a preschool setting) or a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with two years of teaching experience.
• Understanding of OCFS regulations and requirements.
• New York State Certificate preferred.
