About The Position

The position involves providing a warm, safe, and caring environment for students to grow, learn, and explore. The role requires effective supervision and interaction with children in a developmentally appropriate manner, as well as the implementation of a challenging educational curriculum. The candidate will develop lesson plans based on hands-on learning and provide pedagogical support to families. Collaboration in a team environment with teachers, teacher assistants, student teachers, substitutes, and volunteers is essential.

Requirements

• BA in Early Childhood/ MS in Education is preferred
• New York State Certification in Early Childhood
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Fluency in English required, bilingual in Russian preferred
