About The Position
Essex North Shore is seeking a Lead Teacher in various departments including English, History, Mathematics, Science, Wellness, School Counseling, Special Education, Automotive Technology & Collision Repair, Advanced Manufacturing & Metal Fabrication, Biotechnology, Carpentry, Companion Animal & Equine, Construction Craft Laborers, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Dental Assisting, Design & Media Communications, Electrical, Health Assisting & Early Education and Care, Horticulture (Arbor, Landscape, and Sustainable), HVAC, Information Technology & Engineering, Marketing & Common Strands/Pathways, Natural and Environmental Sciences, Plumbing, and Veterinary Science. The Lead Teacher acts as a liaison between departmental staff and the supervisor, facilitating meetings, professional development, curriculum review, common assessments, programming, and is responsible for creating and monitoring departmental budgets. The selected candidate should have a growth mindset and be able to think creatively to promote student learning and solve problems collaboratively.
