National Children’s Center, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is one of the region’s largest non-governmental providers of services for individuals with developmental disabilities, offering an array of services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and adults in the Washington metropolitan area. Our mission is to provide a lifetime of opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Summary: Our Early Learning Center (ELC) strives to provide high-quality early childhood education and early intervention for children with and without disabilities in an inclusive educational setting. The Lead Teacher provides classroom leadership, design and implement intervention for children enrolled in the ELC. Schedule & Location: The ELC is located on Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue in SE Washington, DC. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 7:30a - 5:30p, year round. This is a full time position with a flexible schedule within the center hours, depending on program needs. This position has an annual salary range of $63,838 - $75,103 depending on education level.
