About The Position

We have an exciting Lead Systems Engineer role on our team. In this role, the person will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in customer group domain, responsible for supporting decisions, solving complex problems, and ensuring best practices. Additionally, support, maintenance team, strategic initiatives, projects, training, documentation, and quality assurance. The role can be based in Manchester, NH, Berlin, CT, or Westwood, MA.

Requirements

• Technical Knowledge/Skill: Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Expert knowledge of operating system(s) and relevant software and hardware products, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Minimum of eight (8) to 10 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME guidance and insights in this domain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and strategies.
• Review and support technical documentation, processes, and deliverables.
• Support training and development by creating educational materials and mentoring staff.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Analyze business needs and recommend improvements or innovations.
• Participate in product development, testing, and implementation phases.
• As a SME support product research and evaluation
• Support solution architecture on new system designs and installation, configuration, testing, and documentation
• Coordinate Software upgrades, patches and maintenance
• Support Product Owner for technical priorities and team leadership, directly manage a small team.
• Technical support including trouble shooting and problem resolution
• Network analysis, administration, and configuration
• Operating system, related software products, application and data backup and recovery
• Disaster recovery
• Performance analysis and tuning
• Capacity planning
