About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will be integral in designing, developing, and maintaining the systems infrastructure that supports the organization. Your expertise will drive improvements in our enterprise systems, ensuring that they operate at peak performance. You will lead and participate in IT projects that aim to enhance our operational capabilities while providing end-user support. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you navigate complex technical challenges and support digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable.
Current Epic ECSA certification required.
Microsoft Certifications: MCSE highly desirable.
AWS Certifications: Cloud Practitioner, Associate or Professional level Architect highly desirable.
Minimum of 4-7 years of related experience.
Strong technical skills across various networking and server management disciplines.
Demonstrated knowledge of hardware and operational software tools preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Good judgment and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up effectively.

Responsibilities

Build and configure Windows-based servers.
Support digital transformation efforts.
Configure backup and monitoring on all servers as needed.
Understand the Microsoft security patch cycle and apply patches to servers as needed.
Support Microsoft Office 365.
Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Modify storage, memory and network settings as appropriate.
Monitor server performance.
Troubleshoot issues with performance and access.
Communicate effectively across the organization.
Participate in Change Control process.
Engage in regular on-call rotation.
Create and post documentation.
Provide third-level end-user support.
